This year I have really come to love this Christmas song that I' never paid much attention to before.
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight
I like the last line especially. "The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight." Everything is alright through Jesus Christ. Because He was born everything really will be okay, everything will be made right, and we really will be happy.
