I am so frustrated right now. I just took a long time writing out a long post with pictures and captions and everything and when I pressed "publish"... everything was GONE! I have no idea why. I am very bummed. And annoyed. Ugh.
So here is a condensed version of what I was going to post. It's 11:30 now and it's all I can muster. (I actually was able to post almost everything I lost just from memory. Still annoyed though- cause ain't nobody got time for that.)
So my blogging goal has obviously fallen by the wayside recently. But it is for one of the best reasons- having TOO MANY good things to do with my time!
I started the blogging once a week goal because I needed some help looking on the bright side of things and seeing all the good in my life. I'm so glad I did it because it helped a lot with changing my natural mindset. I've actually been doing a lot of productive self reflection and I've made some small changes that I don't think I was up for doing a few months ago during pregnancy and newborn days. Now I feel balanced and enthusiastic about life- most days.
So once again, thank you blog/journal, my dear friend.
Some of the good things keeping me away from blogging are:
reading (little bits at a time) my book club book These Is My Words
working on my Audrey painting
exciting meal planning
and making new recipes
reading children books and
doing "Learning Time" every days with girls
talking a lot to sisters and cousins
social time with friends in the ward
a more playful baby and
longer mealtimes for him because of solids now
several shows I'm enjoying in my bit of downtime
getting ready for warmer weather/planning some spring activities
And of course all the other normal life stuff like dishes and laundry and making sure I take the time to just play with these cute kids of mine.
I have a few thoughts and goals I've been wanting to post about (I really have so many things I want to blog about! Really, it's not a lack of interest here!) but for this post, just updates and pictures:

| once a week audrey has a dance class and hannah and i have a treat day. we go to the close grocery store and we each get to pick one of the fancy "gourmet" desserts in the glass case. she named it our "treat day" and it's become a very very important ritual for us. eli comes too...but it's all about hannah right then, something to make her feel special. it's quite special for me too hanging out with her and getting a little treat of my own. |
