A week after we got back we threw Audrey a little birthday party with mostly family and few friends with toddlers in Provo at the park down the street. We made play dough, had ice cream sundaes, did a homemade bean bag toss game (that I will have to take pictures of and post it), played on the park, and visited with the people we missed over the summer. Audrey got spoiled with gifts, but otherwise she didn't seem to have any idea that the party was for her. In fact when the attention was on her she was very straight faced and quiet. She had a great time though and we are so happy we got celebrate her again!! We love our little two year old!!!

Now that Audrey is a big girl- that's what happens when you turn two you know- she has upgraded to a big girl toddler bed! When Andrew brought it home I don't know who was more excited, me or her. She kept saying "My whole new bed!" like the song "Whole New World" we've been singing. Soon after it just turned into "My whole bed, my whole bed!"
It's just SO CUTE!! We got it off of ksl.com for a great price and it came with Tinkerbell bedding (which we washed several times, don't worry). She now sleeps in it all night, only having gotten out of it once. Just last night actually. A few minutes after we put her to bed we heard her door open and her saying, "K, I took a nap!" It was the first and hopefully last battle of her being able to get out of bed herself.
The excitement was just indescribable:
