Vertigo and loving these girls of mine

Today was a hard day for these Dobbins girls as I ended up having 3 vertigo episodes (one big terrible one and two smaller ones that may have been after math from the first).  Audrey handled it better today than she has in the past.  Last week I had one and she was crying and screaming outside the door where I was and wouldn't let anyone comfort her.  Today when she saw me with my head in my hands instead of yelling she was saying "Are you tired Mommy?  Are you sleeping Mommy?"  I feel so comforted by her in these hard times.  Even when she's yelling about it I know it's because she's worried about me and is trying to get to me so she can comfort me.  Hannah, as always, was my calm, doesn't-let-much-bother-her trooper during it all.  She didn't get to be held as much today, which made me sad, but she handled it all in her graceful little way.  She makes me feel like I'm a good mother and that is something I really need to feel when I'm struggling with this and feeling guilty.

I love my girls so much.  I've been having times lately where I feel so close to them and I feel like I physically cannot possibly express my love and adoration for them both.  I used to be homesick all the time, but over the years I've begun to feel more and more like my little family is my home and with each new addition that attachment deepens.

Here are a few belated pictures that I've been meaning to post:

here is the other dress i made for audrey.  still not done,
i need to sew some pearls around the collar, but i think she
looks so adorable!

this is a terrible picture but this was her honest-to-goodness
reaction when she saw herself in the mirror wearing it,
complete with a little gasp!  she always likes looking
in the mirror at whatever outfit she's wearing but i think this
is the first time she was like surprised by how pretty
she looked!  gave me quite the ego boost.

playing ukulele with uncle hyrum

playing with her little neighbor friend mckayla.
mckayla is in 3rd grade and is the next oldest kid in
our complex.  she loves playing with audrey and
i'm so grateful when she does!  audrey loves having the
attention of an older kid.

um do you mind?  I'm nursing my baby.

playing on the porch before we left utah.  who says
you can't play outside on a rainy day?

nacho audrey

NACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
and that's all for now.
