Two years ago I watched a lot of my good friends leave on missions around the world. This is the year that most of them will be coming back and I am so excited. But as these guys are coming home to California, here in Utah I am watching more leave! I don’t know how I ended up with so many 18 year old friends again-I think I’m going to have to blame Natalie for that one-but it’s cool to see them all prepare for this big part of their lives.
It’s like having a bunch of little brothers almost…just as annoying sometimes too. Sticking their fingers in my ear, making fun of my height…but they usually make up for it by the end of the day. One day Steven ate a whole package of Goldfish I had just bought. And then came over a few hours later with a huge carton just for me! Josh was so excited the other day to get his new CTR ring. They all text us scriptures all the time and take out our garbages. I gotta say, I like having these guys around.
Mckay comes home from North Carolina in May, Andrew from Paraguay in August, Sean from Ohio in October, Marcos from Tennessee in February, and Jared and Andy have a long way to go! Josh left for the MTC yesterday off to Mississippi and Alec has been called to Germany. Steven got his call last week to the Philippines, and now we’re all waiting to hear where Willy will go. It's crazy how time flies. When I met them they were funny little 17-18 year old girl-crazy boys...and now almost all of them are missionaries of God. I feel like these tiny little boys are growing up before my eyes!
