As I look out my apartment window, the Capitol Building in the distance shrouded in snowy, hazy twilight, it occurs to me how lucky I am to be here. It’s late at night and I have just woken up from a 5 hour nap. I want to walk down the street and sit in front of the Temple for awhile but it is far too cold. So that means homework time instead. What a college schedule.

Not the best picture, but this is what I'm sitting here gazing at. I’m realizing now that I have to walk to school in that snowy sludge, and I must say I am not looking forward to it. But for now I will just enjoy the beauty of the winter wonderland from my window in the comfort of my apartment living room on my red couch. Classes are hard, but they are almost done. And for right now, life is good.
