Holiday Beginnings

I love our house at Christmastime!!!

The lights just bring so much to our home.  And this year our sunset painting there makes it feel more like home.  Christmas by the sea.  With our Yule Log crackling on the TV.  Hopefully someday we'll have a real one.  But for now it's plenty good enough because Audrey goes and warms up by it as if it's a real fire.  I'm not sure if she really believes it brings warmth to our house, but if she doesn't she's an amazing pretender.  She always has been.  It's a sweet sight.

Our ward Christmas party was pretty great!  Good food with friends and Christmas all around us- nothing better!

she's tell santa she wants a carriage...this is the second or
 third year now she's asked of that.  hopefully she'll get it this year!

We are loving Christmas music and activities and movies!  It hasn't snowed yet and I'm hoping it'll stay away as long as it can.  I like some snow for winter of course, but I'm enjoying getting out with the kids in this in-between weather.
