Fall is my favorite. But we seemed to have skipped it here. The day before yesterday it was sunny and hot. Then yesterday Andrew called me as he was walking home from school and told me to go outside and look at the mountains.

They used to be green and red and orange. I was waiting very patiently for the red and orange to make it's way down the mountain and into our front yard. But it never did. It just...skipped it.

I know I said how much I love winter. But I still wish fall had come in all it's crispy leaf goodness. Soggy ones don't make a very satisfying crunch.

Oh well. Like Julia said in her blog post, this means we're justified in skipping to Christmas!
