Beautiful Fall 2016 sum up so far (because there is still like 2 weeks to go and we've haven't even had Thanksgiving yet)

Fall is great.  Everyone knows that.  But having grown up in a place that doesn't have much change in the seasons, we have been able to have some new experiences with this lovely time of year.  And I guess by WE I mean JUST ME because Andrew grew up in normal weather kind of places- even Alaska weather seems more normal than where I grew up.  Summers in Alaska were warmer than summers in Pacifica/Daly City, Ca.  Oh and our girls have only ever known Utah autumn time so far.  So I'm the main one who has been going crazy about it all.

We've done a lot of great stuff this fall.  I told myself I would just post a few pictures.....but well yeah.  I just really want to remember every little thing I can about this time and these ages our girls are in.  Like this dog:

It's literally Hannah's best friend.  It doesn't matter if I'm making it bark and play with her or if he's just sitting in heap on the floor.  He's the love of her life, about equal with mama and daddy.  He just GETS her, I guess.  Recently she's been wrapping his arms around her neck when she picks him up.  And apparently he tells the best jokes because she's always giggling at him and saying "silly doggy."  A stuffed dog is a girl's best friend.

a morning walk around our neighborhood.  look at those mountains back there!  and that big beautiful sky.

Natalie and her family came to visit!

so i took the girls to this nearby cemetery one day.  strange i know, because we don't know enough people around here to know or have heard of anyone in this cemetery.  but i was thinking about my grandpa who passed away a few years ago and is buried in idaho.  and i just felt like it'd be good to take them here and walk around and feel the reverence there.  they were so excited about all the flowers and decorations and loved how many temples we saw engraved onto the gravestones.  i personally enjoyed seeing several polynesian family gravestones and seeing all the names of the kids and the big families they had.  we just had a nice time talking about it all, the grandmas and grandpas and families.  maybe it was a weird thing to do but i'm glad we did it!  and soon we will be going got visit my grandpa's grave in idaho.  i'm excited.
