Mom posted a picture of us on the blog that I haven’t looked at very closely ever from when we first got engaged. And oh boy did it make my heart leap. Or maybe that was the baby. Because I love love love remembering that time, specifically now, of excitement at the thought of starting our life together and marrying this boy I’d been holding out for for two years. I couldn’t believe it was really happening.
This picture just shows our early love at it’s best. We’ve been through some hard things together now and I think our smiles are a little more grown up, but we will always be those people from before. I love this picture now, it’s one of my favorites. We were sooooo happy to have each other and now we are sooo happy to have each other still and to have a manifestation of our love coming soon for us to hold and cuddle and love forever more.
